Programme Sponsorship: Generator Rex

Show Synopsis

Rex is 15. And like most 15 year old boys, he likes cars, girls, music, sports... unlike most 15 year old boys, among other things he can make his fists the size of boulders, sprout a jet pack out of his back and turn his legs into a lightning-fast motorcycle. These talents are extremely useful to Providence, a global organization chartered to fight mutant creatures known as Evos. Rex is under their care, and he's also their ultimate weapon.

The world of our show takes place in the aftermath of a global catastrophe - where microscopic machines known as nanites have infected every living thing. The good news is that for most, these nanites lie dormant and harmless. The bad news is that for a select few, the nanites mutate their hosts into abominations we call Evos.

Rex is one such evo, but unlike the monsters he and Providence battles, Rex has control over his nanites. This allows him to do three things - create a half dozen or so machines from his body, communicate with and control other machines and most importantly, extract the corrupted nanites inside certain Evos, essentially curing them.
