Digital Kids

How come more kids use a mobile phone than own one? And how come they're spending more time online, but watching as much TV as ever too? Kids are growing up digital, and two years ago we started an annual research project into their wired-up world.

Through a set of face-to-face questionnaires, online diaries, pre-tasks and in-home family interviews, Digital Kids explores the digital landscape for kids in the UK, to find out not just what they're doing and when - but how and why.

They've always been able to interact with their TV, and play computer games with strangers on the other side of the world. They've never had to go to the shops to buy music - or pay for most of the online stuff they want. So how is the digital age shaping their attitudes and behaviour? And how will you keep up?
