Turner Media Innovations flies high with Spin Master Storm Hawks deal

Turner Media Innovations has signed a media consultancy deal with global toy firm Spin Master to promote their Storm Hawks toy range, due out in March 2008.

The deal which incorporates bespoke activity across on-air, online, interactive, marketing and in-store, sees toy chain Toys "R" Us come on board as the retail launch partner.

Toys "R" Us will sponsor a specially created Storm Hawks website, and will also feature in branded ponsorship credits around new Storm Hawks episodes airing on Cartoon Network from the 1st March.

Additional activity will include an eTV game, a marketing mailout and a network competition to win a trolley dash at a Toys "R" Us store.  Turner Media Innovations has also created three spots; a 30-second spot, a 20-second web drive spot and a 30-second retail drive spot which will all play out on rotation.

Storm Hawks is a comedy-action adventure series produced in CGI animation which pushes the boundaries of 3D animation with dramatic aerial battle sequences and fearsome fight scenes.

The series is set in a fantastical world where squadrons of high-flying Sky Knights battle to protect their air turf.  Five mismatched teens - Aerrow, Finn, Piper, Junko and Stork - armed with transforming flying motorcycles prepare to take on some of the nastiest villains ever to hit the skies.

The Storm Hawks product line includes an interactive range of action figures, transforming vehicles and play sets.  Action figures have up to 19 points of articulation and spring loaded attack features which demonstrate the signature move of each character.
