Scared Shrekless for Paramount

The Campaign

 

To promote the release of Scared Shrekless on DVD, we created a microsite that enabled kids to familiarise themselves with the Scared Shrekless story, the characters and also gave them the chance to win a copy of Scared Shrekless on DVD.

On the microsite, kids were able to learn more about the special Halloween release. To be in with the chance of winning a copy of the DVD, they were required to play our ‘Trick or Treat' game by helping Donkey to collect all the treats in his nosebag. They were also required to collect the treats and bonus items, whilst dodging the bats, to try and get the highest possible score.

The official film trailer for Scared Shrekless was also placed on the microsite to give kids a sneak peek of the film.


Traffic drivers were used to direct users to the Scared Shrekless microsite that ran on CartoonNetwork.co.uk The Scared Shrekless banner was visible on the WIN section of CartoonNetwork.co.uk for the duration of the campaign. This was a great to way to promote the competition as kids tend to be already familiar with the WIN section and are already directed here to enter other competitions.
