Despicable Me for Universal Pictures

Universal Pictures asked us how could we create excitement and laughter about the family movie Despicable Me and bring to life the characters involved, especially Gru and his sidekicks the Minions?

In response, we created a campaign featuring Gru and his Minions taking over the Boomerang channel! Through a webdrive, sponsorship ID's and branded channel idents we created the impression themental minions were running riot whilst also introducing other key characters from the movie. Additionally children were encouraged to help rescue the channel by going on line to enter a competition.
