Ben 10 Monster Truck Mania

 

The Campaign

 

We created a 30” webdrive that promoted the Monster Truck Mania arena tour, this encouraged kids to go online to find out more  arena tour and to enter the competition to be in with the chance of winning VIP tickets.

To promote the arena tour, we created a microsite that enabled kids to familiarise themselves with the trucks, the tour dates and venues and to play our ‘Crash Bash and Tash’ game to win VIP tickets.

To be in with the chance of winning VIP tickets to the arena tour, kids were required to play our ‘Crash Bash and Tash’ game. They had to jump ‘Humungosaur’ by clicking GO and stopping the rev counter in the red to crush the trash Vilgax. Once this was done they are prompted to complete their details to be in with the chance of winning the VIP tickets.

There was also a link for users to purchase tickets to all of the venues on the arena tour. This was linked to the venues external site. Traffic drivers were used to direct users to the Monster Truck Mania microsite that ran on CartoonNetwork.co.uk.

The Monster Truck Mania banner was visible on the WIN section of CartoonNetwork.co.uk for the duration of the campaign.

This was a great to way to promote the competition as kids tend to be already familiar with the WIN section and are already directed here to enter other competitions.

  • Over 3,000 competition entries!
