Spanish Iberian region is a mature market where Turner has played a Top 3 role over the years within the Spanish Pay TV. As a result of our leadership on kid's entertainment we launched Boing, a FTA channel on Sept 2010 through a joint venture with Mediaset/ Publiespaña, one of the biggest FTA audiovisual media enterprises. Spain has 4.1 million kids (aged 4-12) where 24% have pay TV. In addition, Boing reaches 87% of the total kid's population 4-12. These two facts make Turner Spain be on top of kid's entertainment Spanish market.
