The presenters attract children's attention in an imaginative and creative way, encouraging movement, exercise and participation - with a focus on learning through play, music and dance. Every week Hi-5 focuses on a different theme from colours, animals and friends to family, senses and feelings: so there's plenty in the series about personal development and the world around us.
Each of the five cast members have a favourite colour, Emma from Hi-5 likes yellow in sunflowers , Luke likes red apples, Chris likes the blue ocean, Kat likes green leaves and Jenny's favourite colour is pink.
