Boomerang Pet Personality Awards
The Boomerang audience are wild about animals - and they love the Boomerang Pet Personality Awards, where their pets become the stars of the show.
This engaging, two-month long campaign lets kids enter their own pets in a range of categories - like the Scooby-Doo Award for the Funniest Pet. There's a dedicated website, on-air campaign, virtual games - and the whole thing culminates in a big Awards event.
Our very first Awards in 2009 got us off to an amazing start:
- 21,000 entries (4 times more than our target!)
- 100,000 unique users of the website
- 46,000 members of the pet awards club
- 26,000 'virtual puppies' downloaded
- £2m in PR media value
- 3,500 guests at the Awards ceremony
And did you know*:
- Two thirds of kids have their own pet
- Boomerang is the No. 1 commercial kids channel for mums watching with their kids
- Boomerang is the No. 1 commercial kids channel for boys AND girls aged 4-9
