Turner Media Innovations wins triple round of business from Mattel
Turner Media Innovations are pleased to announce two further campaigns with leading toy manufacturer, Mattel, for their Hot Wheels brand, adding to the recently announced sponsorship deal for fashion doll brand, Barbie.
Both the latest campaigns will run on Turner Broadcasting's flagship kids' channel, Cartoon Network. The first campaign will focus on raising awareness of Hot Wheels' initiative, the Stunt Challenge, which invites kids to create the most daring stunt tracks, with a chance to win high end prizes.
This sponsorship campaign will complement Mattel's full marketing programme for the Stunt Challenge and features a 30-second spot driving to the dedicated Hot Wheels website. The winner of the challenge will also see their stunt track made into a spot to be broadcast as the second wave of on-air activity.
Later in the year, Turner Media Innovations will deliver a multi-platform campaign for a second Hot Wheels initiative incorporating TV, online and an interactive eTV game.
Adam Eagle, Director of Sponsorship & Promotions at Turner Media Innovations says: "We're delighted to be working with Mattel on this great range of business. There are fantastic standout elements to each campaign, particularly the eTV aspect. Interactive advertising is an area of strength for Turner Media Innovations, and it's proving increasingly popular with clients as it delivers an enhanced level of brand engagement."
Both the latest campaigns were negotiated by Carat Sponsorship.
Wendy Hill, Mattel Marketing Manager, Boys Division comments: "These are exciting initiatives for us, and we believe we have found a partner in Turner that will deliver strong results and provide engaging content for our target audience."
